Today I want to share a revelation I received while praying with my husband and my 10-year-old daughter before bed.
El Señor empezó a hablar sobre la familia y sobre la importancia de estar unidos y preparados para todo lo que viene en la vida de una familia cristiana. El Señor me mostró que va a permitir que Satanás le pegue a puño cerrado a cada familia cristiana para probarla. Esto no va a ser un castigo.
The Lord began to speak about the family and the importance of being united and prepared for everything that is coming in the life of a Christian family. The Lord showed me that He will allow Satan to strike every Christian family with a closed fist to test them. This will not be a punishment.
El Señor decía: Yo quiero ver quiénes son realmente los que son míos, dice el Señor, los que están fundados sobre la roca, los que están preparados y esperándome, los que confían en mí, los que están juntos, los que están educando a sus familias, los que tienen a sus esposas bajo un santo sometimiento en el orden divino en el cual Dios creó a la familia. Yo quiero ver cuál es la familia cristiana que realmente les está enseñando a sus hijos cómo conocer a Jesús, cómo seguirlo, cómo ser un hijo o una hija de Dios.
The Lord said: I want to see who truly belong to Me, says the Lord, those who are founded on the rock, those who are prepared and waiting for Me, those who trust in Me, those who are united, those who are raising their families, those whose wives are under holy submission within the divine order in which God created the family. I want to see which Christian family is really teaching their children how to know Jesus, how to follow Him, how to be a son or daughter of God.
El Señor me mostró en una visión el puño del diablo pegándole a cada casa. Veía casas que supuestamente eran familias cristianas, pero cuando Satanás les pegaba, esas casas se caían. Veía otras casas que, cuando Satanás les pegaba con el puño, solo se movían un poquitito, pero no se caían. Y veía casas que, cuando Satanás les pegaba, no se inmutaban ni se les movía ni un pedacito de ladrillo.
The Lord showed me in a vision the devil’s fist striking every house. I saw houses that were supposedly Christian families, but when Satan struck them, those houses fell. I saw other houses that, when Satan struck them with his fist, only shook a little, but did not fall. And I saw houses that, when Satan struck them, were not shaken, not even a single brick moved.
[Matthew 7:24-27] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
El Señor decía: Ustedes, como familia, deben estar alertas a las trampas del diablo. Deben dejar a un lado las discusiones, las peleas, la ira. Deben permanecer unidos, orando cada día, bendiciendo la comida, fundando su vida, la vida de sus hijos y la vida de su pareja en mí.
The Lord said: You, as a family, must be alert to the devil’s traps. You must set aside arguments, fights, anger. You must remain united, praying every day, blessing your food, founding your life, your children’s lives, and your spouse’s life on Me.
Así que te pregunto hoy, hermano, hermana: ¿Está tu casa fundada sobre la Roca, para que cuando el Señor permita que el diablo le pegue a puño cerrado, esté preparada? Esto es serio, hermanos, y los insto a prepararse en Jesús. Habiten en Jesús y pongan su enfoque en Él antes que en los hombres. Escuchen lo que Él quiere de ustedes. Cumplan lo que Él les ordenó. Lean la Palabra para entenderlo, para conocerlo mejor, para saber qué le gusta, qué no le gusta y qué quiere.
So I ask you today, brother, sister: Is your house founded on the Rock, so that when the Lord allows the devil to strike it with a closed fist, it will be ready? This is serious, brothers, and I urge you to prepare yourselves in Jesus. Dwell in Jesus and set your focus on Him before men. Listen to what He wants from you. Do what He has commanded you. Read the Word to understand Him, to know Him better, to know what He likes, what He does not like, and what He wants.
Oren cada día en familia, fortaleciendo los lazos y las uniones. Pasen tiempo en comunión con Él en soledad, tratando de escucharlo, arrodillados en el piso de la habitación, sin ningún ruido que interrumpa su comunicación con Él. Este mundo está terrible, hermanos, y necesitamos esos momentos diarios de comunión y de soledad con nuestro amado Señor Jesús.
Pray every day as a family, strengthening your bonds and your unity. Spend time in fellowship with Him in solitude, trying to hear Him, kneeling on your bedroom floor, with no noise interrupting your communication with Him. This world is terrible, brothers, and we need those daily moments of fellowship and solitude with our beloved Lord Jesus.
