To help you better understand what God sees as sin, I’ve put together this list of sins. It’s not an exhaustive list, but rather an enumeration of the most common sins.
If you disagree with some items on this list, you don’t need to argue with me. Take it to God in prayer, because He has never left anyone in confusion who seeks Him with a sincere heart. If you really want the truth, you will find it.
Here are some things that are not acceptable in the eyes of God:

Idolatry: bowing down before statues and images, burning incense to “gods” or “saints,” praying to dead people, etc.

Any religious or spiritual activity not centered on Jesus Christ, such as Yoga or New Age

Any form of witchcraft, magic, sorcery, occultism, spiritism, necromancy, divination, psychics, fortune telling, astrology, etc.

Adultery, incest, homosexuality, premarital sex, masturbation, pornography, dirty thoughts, deviant sexual practices, anal sex, etc.

Addictions to substances: alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, drugs, etc.

Addictions to activities: gambling, computer games, etc.

Murder, abortion (murdering the unborn), violence, hate, unforgiveness, envy, strife, jealousy, greed, covetousness, pride, etc.

Chasing the things of this world: career, wealth, power, fame, influence, prestige, pleasure, comfort, beauty, etc.

And the root of them all: living for self
