[1 Peter 4:17-18] It is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Why is that? Because most Christians are not saved. They are not right with God. Judgment is His mercy to wake them up, to make them desperate enough to cry out to Him and be saved. If God didn’t bring judgment, they would die in their sins and end up in hell.

Why are most Christians not saved? Because they live in all kinds of sins. Because they don’t sanctify themselves. Because they don’t seek God. Because they make no time for Him. Because they don’t know Him, and He doesn’t know them. Because they are religious but not righteous. Because they love the world and the things of the world. Because their life is full of idols. And on and on it goes…

Why is that? Because most have never truly repented. They are still rebels at heart, doing what they please, how they please, when they please. They worship the god of self. If you try to warn them, they tell you, “Don’t judge me! We are saved by grace, not by works! No one is perfect.” They say they believe, but they believe in vain. They beLIEve a lie. They believe in a god that exists only in their imagination.

God gave us the gift of salvation, but with that gift come responsibilities. We can come to Him as we are, but we can’t stay as we are. If we don’t start to live as He desires and requires, we will come under judgment. We cannot play games with God and expect Him to wink at our sins.

That’s why judgment begins at the house of God, and the false pastors will be the first in line. You have been warned. When judgment hits, you won’t be able to say you didn’t know. Today is the time to make sure you are right with Him. Do not take your salvation for granted.

[Matthew 7:21-23] Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Jesus is not talking to Muslims and Buddhists here.
