I have said it before, and I will keep repeating it: Just believing is not enough. The demons also believe. There must be repentance, a surrender of your life and your will to God. Faith without repentance is useless.

Before Jesus came, John the Baptist prepared the way by preaching repentance. Jesus Himself preached repentance! Peter preached repentance. Paul preached repentance. Throughout the whole Bible, God commands people many times to repent.

Then why do most pastors today refuse to preach repentance? Because they don’t know God. Because they are deceived and deceiving others as well. Because they are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

[Jude 1:4] Certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality…

[Philippians 3:19] Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

Repentance is the heart of the gospel message. The gospel that doesn’t include repentance is another gospel, a fake gospel that doesn’t save anyone, a gospel that sends countless millions to hell while they believe themselves to be saved and on their way to heaven. How tragic!

What is repentance? It’s turning from sin, not just feeling sorry. It’s being sorry enough to stop. You stop everything you know is sin, without seeking excuses and justifications. Repentance also means turning from self to God and surrendering your life to Him. You start seeking Him with all your heart.

Have you repented? If you haven’t, you are not saved. If you live in any willful sin, you are not saved. If you harbor unforgiveness in your heart, you are not saved. If you chase worldly success, you are not saved. If reading this made you angry, you are not saved.

Deep in your heart you know very well you are not right with God. Your lack of peace and joy shows it. Your own conscience is a witness against you, but you choose to ignore it, preferring to cling to Bible verses taken out of context, listening to the soothing words of false teachers who tell you not to worry because “we are saved by faith, not by works.”

Ignoring the warnings of your conscience is a fatal mistake. Do not make that mistake. God is urging you one more time to repent, to truly and deeply repent, because without true repentance there will be no forgiveness. I plead with you to come to your senses before it’s too late.
