If you want to be saved and spend eternity with God in heaven, you must repent. If you refuse to repent, you will remain under God’s wrath.
Only believing is not enough. Christian, these verses are also for you:
[Romans 2:5-11] Because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who will repay each one according to his deeds. To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life; but to those who are self-serving and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, he will give wrath and indignation. There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of mankind who does evil, but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who does what is good. For there is no partiality with God.
Yes, there is no partiality with God. He is not impressed with superficial professions of faith. Christians who don’t live in a repentant attitude will experience God’s wrath, fury, and indignation.
Don’t listen to the wolves in sheep’s clothing who never mention repentance or who tell you that repentance is an optional extra. Repentance is absolutely a requirement for salvation.
Have you ever truly repented? Are you walking in repentance? Or do you just believe?
