The “faith alone” doctrine is the sacred cow of Protestant Christianity.
I challenge you to show me this idea in the Bible. Show me one verse, please. Just one verse.
The truth is that the Bible says exactly the opposite.
[James 2:24] You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.
How much clearer can it be?
The Bible absolutely doesn’t teach “faith alone.” This doctrine comes from Martin Luther, not from the Apostles.
The Bible tells us explicitly that we are not justified by faith alone. You say you believe the Bible, but you refuse to believe this verse. Why?
Don’t you know that faith without works is useless?
[James 2:19-20] You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith without works is useless?
“You foolish person,” why do you put Martin Luther above the Bible?
Please study the Bible for yourself. Don’t rely on the teachings and opinions of so-called experts. Most of them are just blind leading the blind.
When you stand before God, He will ask you: Why didn’t you obey Me? Why did you keep on sinning? Why didn’t you sanctify yourself? Why did you keep loving the world? Why didn’t you forgive everyone?
Will you quote Martin Luther to Him?
