The Prosperity Gospel

Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, la antorcha encendida, la oveja desechada de Israel. Todos los pueblos van a rendir cuentas a Mí. Toda rodilla se doblará y todos reconocerán que Yo soy el Rey Jesucristo, el Señor, el único Hijo de Dios enviado para perdón de sus pecados.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the burning torch, the rejected sheep of Israel. All peoples will answer to Me. Every knee will bow, and all will acknowledge that I am King Jesus Christ, the Lord, the only Son of God, sent for the forgiveness of their sins.

Reconozcan ahora que Yo soy el Señor en sus vidas, hijos míos, y empiecen a seguirme realmente, como corresponde a los verdaderos hijos de Dios, que me buscan y claman mi nombre, que quieren conocerme más y más y saber quién soy.

Acknowledge now that I am the Lord in your lives, My children, and begin truly following Me, as true children of God should—children who seek Me and call on My name, who long to know Me more and more and to know who I am.

My children, I am waiting for you to knock at My door, to beg and plead in My name to discover the hidden things of My Kingdom and to understand everything that had not been revealed until now.

My children, turn away from uncleanness, says the Lord. I take no pleasure in occult practices or in doctrines of demons who pray to money.

Muchos falsos profetas andan por el mundo, predicando cosas que Yo nunca les mandé, dice el Señor. Abran sus ojos. Escudriñen las Escrituras. Busquen y van a encontrar. Pregúntenme, dice el Señor, y Yo les voy a responder cualquier duda que tengan.

Many false prophets travel the world, preaching things I never commanded them to preach, says the Lord. Open your eyes. Search the Scriptures. Seek and you will find. Ask Me, says the Lord, and I will answer whatever questions you have.

Pero no se dejen engañar por estos falsos predicadores que andan paseando por el mundo, encantando los corazones en mi nombre, haciéndoles creer que pueden negociar con mi Reino. Cada vez que ustedes dicen sembrar, colocando dinero en los altares de las iglesias, lo que están cosechando son maldiciones, dice el Señor.

But don’t be deceived by these false preachers who wander the world, enchanting hearts in My name, making you believe you can bargain with My Kingdom. Every time you say you are sowing, placing money on church altars, what you are reaping is curses, says the Lord.

¿No se dan cuenta de que Yo vine para ser humilde? ¿Por qué querría Yo que oren por grandes cosas materiales? Y ustedes siguen allí, en los templos, tirando sus monedas a los pies de estos falsos predicadores, que lo único que buscan es vaciar sus bolsillos, pensando que pueden comprarme, dice el Señor.

Don’t you realize that I came to be humble? Why would I want you to pray for great material possessions? And yet you remain there in the churche buildings, throwing your coins at the feet of these false preachers who only want to empty your pockets, thinking you can buy Me, says the Lord.

Pero nadie puede comprar mi cruz. Cada vez que Yo miro mis manos agujereadas por los clavos, me acuerdo de ti, dice el Señor. Tú fuiste mi motivación, hijo mío, hija mía. Date cuenta de que te están mintiendo, dice el Señor, haciéndote alabar cosas materiales, y el 80 por ciento de sus prédicas consiste en prosperidad, dice el Señor.

But no one can buy My cross. Every time I look at My hands pierced by the nails, I remember you, says the Lord. You were what motivated Me, My son, My daughter. Realize that they are lying to you, says the Lord, leading you to praise material things, and their sermons are eighty percent about prosperity, says the Lord.

Pero Yo voy a cerrar sus bocas y, llegado el momento, les voy a preguntar: «¿Por qué no predicaste sobre mi cruz? ¿Por qué no proclamaste mi nombre en las calles? ¿Por qué no diste tu dinero a los necesitados? ¿Por qué no le contaste a la gente sobre mi sacrificio? En vez de eso, te llenaste los bolsillos de dinero, abusaste del necesitado, engañaste a los pobres, haciéndoles creer que podían comprar la salvación».

But I will shut their mouths and, when the time comes, I will ask them: “Why didn’t you preach about My cross? Why didn’t you proclaim My name in the streets? Why didn’t you give your money to the needy? Why didn’t you tell people about My sacrifice? Instead, you filled your pockets with money, abused the needy, deceived the poor, making them believe they could buy salvation.”

Pero nada de esto es cierto. Muchos tienen un velo en los ojos debido a las concupiscencias en sus propios corazones, dice el Señor, y no pueden ver que han sido engañados por sus propios deseos: deseos de vanagloria, deseos de riqueza.

But none of this is true. Many have a veil over their eyes because of the desires of their own hearts, says the Lord, and can’t see that they have been deceived by their own desires: desires for vainglory, desires for wealth.

Despierten ahora, hermanos míos, dice el Señor. Dejen de adorar a Baal y de orar a Mamón. ¿No se dan cuenta de que mi Espíritu no está ahí donde se predica el evangelio de la prosperidad?

Wake up now, My brothers, says the Lord. Stop worshiping Baal and praying to Mammon. Don’t you realize that My Spirit is not present where the prosperity gospel is preached?

Más bien, busquen los tesoros en el Cielo, dice el Señor, donde ningún ladrón los puede hurtar, donde ni el orín ni la polilla los pueden corromper; tesoros eternos que nadie puede destruir, tesoros de amor y de bondad, de generosidad y de caridad. Eso estoy buscando, dice Jesús.

Instead, seek treasures in Heaven, says the Lord, where no thief can steal them, where neither rust nor moth can ruin them—eternal treasures that no one can destroy, treasures of love and kindness, of generosity and charity. That’s what I am seeking, says Jesus.

Pero mi corazón está harto de ver cómo los que dicen conocerme se arrodillan en el piso en frente de estos falsos predicadores que acumulan dinero, tirando sus billetes en el altar para conseguir algo de Mí, sin querer saber que en realidad le están dando sus posesiones a Mamón y están ganando maldiciones espirituales, dice el Señor.

But My heart is weary of seeing those who claim to know Me kneeling on the floor before these false preachers who accumulate wealth, throwing their money on the altar to get something from Me, refusing to realize that they are actually giving their possessions to Mammon and bringing spiritual curses upon themselves, says the Lord.

Sean honestos con ustedes mismos, dice Jesús. Abran su corazón y escuchen mi voz, porque los que verdaderamente me siguen no andan tras estas falsas doctrinas de demonios, adorando a baales, sirviendo a las riquezas. Despierten ahora, hijos míos, y arrepiéntanse de haber querido negociar con mi Reino.

Be honest with yourselves, says Jesus. Open your hearts and listen to My voice, because those who truly follow Me don’t chase after these false doctrines of demons, worshiping Baals, serving riches. Wake up now, My children, and repent of trying to bargain with My Kingdom.

¿Ustedes piensan que mi cruz se puede comprar?, dice Jesús. ¡Ni con todo el oro del mundo! Mi cruz es inaccesible para todos aquellos que se arrodillan y adoran a las riquezas. Mi cruz es inaccesible para todos aquellos que lo único que están buscando son tesoros terrenales.

Do you think My cross can be bought? says Jesus. Not even with all the gold in the world! My cross is out of reach for all those who kneel and worship riches. My cross is out of reach for all those who are only seeking earthly treasures.

Despierten, hijitos, y crean lo que les digo, dice el Señor. Yo envío a mis profetas a advertirles una y otra y otra vez, pero muchos eligen taparse los oídos y creer lo que quieren creer, sin darse cuenta de que están en un camino de error, que están caminando por la izquierda.

Wake up, little ones, and believe what I tell you, says the Lord. I send My prophets to warn you again and again and again, but many choose to cover their ears and believe what they want to believe, not realizing they are on the wrong path, that they are walking to the left.

Escúchenme ahora, mis siervos, aquellos que viven para mi justicia y para proclamar mi nombre. Escúchenme a Mí, abran su corazón a Mí, dice el Señor, y oren para que Yo les revele las verdades del Reino.

Listen to Me now, My servants, you who live for My righteousness and to proclaim My name. Listen to Me, open your hearts to Me, says the Lord, and pray that I will reveal to you the truths of the Kingdom.

¿Cuál es la verdadera riqueza, la verdadera prosperidad? La verdadera prosperidad es estar en Mí, dice Jesús, porque los tesoros de este mundo son pasajeros. Se corrompen y dejan de ser. Pero el que me ama vivirá para siempre y no tendrá necesidad de nada nunca más.

What is true wealth, true prosperity? True prosperity is being in Me, says Jesus, because the treasures of this world are fleeting. They decay and pass away. But whoever loves Me will live forever and never need anything again.

¿Ustedes no creen que Yo sé qué es lo que necesitan? ¿Ustedes no creen que tengo el poder suficiente para darles todo lo que les falta para hacer mi obra?

Don’t you believe I know what you need? Don’t you believe I have the power to give you everything you lack to do My work?

Despierten ahora. Levántense de ese letargo, levántense de sus sillas, dice el Señor, y ocupen sus manos en el trabajo justo para Mí y para mi Reino. Entréguenme esas manos sucias por haber querido negociar la salvación y por haber querido manipular las cosas de mi Reino, y Yo los voy a lavar.

Wake up now. Rise from that lethargy, get up from your seats, says the Lord, and set your hands to righteous work for Me and for My Kingdom. Give Me those hands, soiled by trying to bargain for salvation and by trying to manipulate the things of My Kingdom, and I will wash them.

Arrepiéntanse de toda injusticia, dice el Señor, y de tener las manos manchadas con estas falsas doctrinas que predican supuestos maestros de la Palabra. Denme honestamente esas manos a Mí. Ríndanse a Mí. Yo voy a proveer todo lo que falta.

Repent of all unrighteousness, says the Lord, and of having your hands stained with these false doctrines preached by so-called teachers of the Word. Give Me those hands honestly. Surrender to Me. I will provide all that is lacking.

¿Acaso no se alimentan las aves del cielo aunque no trabajan? ¡Cuánto más voy a alimentar a mis hijos que trabajan para mi Reino, dice el Señor, que proclaman mi nombre día a día, negándose a sí mismos!

Don’t the birds of the air eat without working? How much more, then, will I feed My children who work for My Kingdom, says the Lord, who proclaim My name day after day, denying themselves?

Esa es la verdadera cruz: rendirse a Mí, creer que Yo puedo suplir todas sus faltas, sin tener que hacer rituales, sin hacer hechicerías ocultas. Porque cuando ustedes supuestamente siembran para el Reino, como dicen algunos falsos maestros, predicadores y profetas, lo único que están haciendo es acarrear juicio para ustedes mismos.

That is the true cross: to surrender to Me, to believe that I can meet all your needs, without having to perform rituals, without practicing occult witchcraft. Because when you supposedly sow for the Kingdom, as some false teachers, preachers, and prophets say, all you are really doing is bringing judgment upon yourselves.

Pero vengan a Mí, porque Yo los voy a limpiar. Arrepiéntanse de esta falta y oren a Mí para que Yo les muestre cómo tienen que seguir. Vayan un paso más adelante que los demás, dice el Señor. Adelántense a estos falsos profetas que solo buscan empobrecerlos para enriquecerse ellos mismos.

But come to Me, because I will cleanse you. Repent of this failing and pray to Me so I will show you how you should move forward. Get one step ahead, says the Lord. Get ahead of these false prophets who only want to make you poor so they can enrich themselves.

Estén un paso más adelante que ellos y síganme a Mí y solo a Mí, dice Jesús. Dejen de idolatrar hombres de carne y hueso y síganme a Mí, que soy el verdadero Pastor de las ovejas, que soy el verdadero Dador voluntario, que soy el único que tiene generosidad divina.

Be one step ahead of them and follow Me, and only Me, says Jesus. Stop idolizing men of flesh and blood and follow Me, who am the true Shepherd of the sheep, who am the true Giver who gives freely, who alone has divine generosity.

Mi Padre está contento con aquellos que no se preocupan por las cosas materiales, que no buscan multiplicar sus riquezas, sino más bien servirme. Mi Padre está contento con aquellos humildes y trabajadores de corazón cuyas manos están gastadas por el esfuerzo diario, manteniendo a sus familias en amor y en humildad.

My Father is pleased with those who don’t worry about material things, who don’t seek to multiply their riches, but rather to serve Me. My Father is pleased with those who are humble and hardworking at heart, whose hands are worn from daily work, providing for their families with love and humility.

Ahí están mis ojos, sobre ellos, dice Jesús. A esos los estoy mirando, ayudando y confortando. A esos mi mirada los sigue de cerca. Pero otros, que no quieren escucharme, esos me generan indignación y angustia, porque dicen conocerme y enseñar mis cosas, cuando en realidad enseñan por ellos mismos y crean falsos caminos, caminos torcidos que llevan a la muerte.

That is where My eyes are: on them, says Jesus. Those are the ones I am watching, helping, and comforting. Those are the ones My gaze follows closely. But others, who refuse to listen to Me, fill Me with indignation and anguish, because they say they know Me, they say they teach My ways, when in reality they teach on their own authority and create false paths, twisted paths that lead to death.

Cada vez que ustedes tiran las monedas en los altares, afanados por tener más, afanados por ver más billetes sobre la mesa, lo único que hacen es generar mi ira, dice el Señor.

Every time you throw coins on the altars, obsessed with having more, obsessed with seeing more money on the table, all you are doing is stirring up My wrath, says the Lord.

¿Cómo puede ser que mi gente se deje engañar de esta manera, creyendo cualquier doctrina, dejándose llevar por cualquier viento de concupiscencias, dejándose robar por esta gente que no tiene escrúpulos? ¿Cómo puede ser que prefieran seguir estas falsas doctrinas antes que seguirme a Mí, el perfecto Dador?

How is it that My people let themselves be deceived like this, believing any doctrine, letting themselves be swept away by every wind of lustful desires, letting themselves be robbed by unscrupulous people? How is it that you would rather follow these false doctrines than follow Me, the perfect Giver?

Levántate ahora, dice el Señor, y lucha con tu espada contra estas falsas doctrinas. Proclama mi nombre en las calles.

Rise up now, says the Lord, and fight with your sword against these false doctrines. Proclaim My name in the streets.

Yo dejé mi ejemplo de una vida digna, dice Jesús. A Mí tienen que seguirme antes que a estos mentirosos que llevan a mis ovejas a la perdición, cautivando los corazones con promesas insensatas, haciéndoles creer que hay fórmulas espirituales para ganar riquezas materiales.

I left you My example of a worthy life, says Jesus. You must follow Me rather than these liars who lead My sheep to perdition, captivating hearts with foolish promises, making them believe there are spiritual formulas to obtain material wealth.

Hijitos, levántense ahora y luchen por Mí, dice Jesús. Enderecen lo que está torcido, corrijan lo que está incorrecto, hablen por Mí, y Yo les voy a colocar la corona de la vida llegado el momento de encontrarnos, dice Jesús.

Little ones, rise up now and fight for Me, says Jesus. Straighten what is crooked, correct what is wrong, speak for Me, and I will place the crown of life on you when the time comes for us to meet, says Jesus.

Pero aquel que se calla la boca cuando ve injusticia, mi mano lo mantiene lejos de Mí. Él mismo ha construido una separación entre nosotros dos.

But whoever keeps his mouth shut when he sees injustice, My hand keeps him far from Me. He himself has built a separation between us.

No sean cobardes. Hablen mi justicia. Decreten mis cosas espirituales, dice Jesús. Alimenten a mis ovejas, sáquenlas de los malos caminos, rescátenlas de los pozos donde están metidas, ábranles los ojos a las que están ciegas, sanen a las enfermas, ayuden a las perniquebradas, dice el Señor, y Yo los voy a recompensar cuando llegue el momento de presentar mi Reino, cuando llegue el momento de abrirles la puerta.

Do not be cowards. Speak My righteousness. Decree My spiritual things, says Jesus. Feed My sheep, lead them away from evil paths, rescue them from the pits where they are trapped, open the eyes of the blind, heal the sick, help those with broken legs, says the Lord, and I will reward you when the time comes to present My Kingdom, when the time comes to open the door for you.

We began to gather treasures for ourselves. We began to accumulate material things and enrich ourselves. We went to church to hear about money, and we delighted in listening. The preachers took money from our pockets, telling us we would receive even more in return.

That’s how we started to worship Baal right inside the churches, and he became our god. We began to pray to him and ask him for things, and we became his slaves and his servants.

Meanwhile, God was offering us treasures from Heaven. He spoke to us and said, “Look, son, at everything I have to offer you.”

Then we started to feel that something was wrong in our lives. Things began to go badly for us. Then the Lord said to Himself, “I will allow everything to go wrong for those who follow these doctrines, so they might realize they are in error and return to Me.”

Entonces pensábamos: «Señor, ¿por qué ya no te siento presente? ¿Acaso me dejaste?» Caímos en depresión y muchas cosas malas comenzaron a suceder en nuestras familias.

Then we thought, “Lord, why do I no longer feel Your presence? Have You left me?” We fell into depression and many bad things started to happen in our families.

Mientras tanto, el Señor observaba todo desde su santo lugar, esperando que reaccionáramos. Pero como no reaccionábamos, el Señor envió ángeles a darnos señales de que estábamos en camino de error. Dios también nos envió personas para avisarnos de que nos habíamos desviado y que estábamos en idolatría.

Meanwhile, the Lord watched everything from His holy place, waiting for us to respond. But since we didn’t respond, the Lord sent angels to give us signs that we were on the wrong path. God also sent people to warn us that we had gone astray and were living in idolatry.

El Señor nos avisó de muchas maneras diferentes, pero no hicimos caso a ninguna de estas señales. Preferimos hacernos los sordos, simular que no escuchábamos y seguir adelante con nuestra iniquidad, hasta que se nos terminó el tiempo en la tierra, y con él las oportunidades de arrepentirnos, y llegó el momento de ir a rendir cuentas al Altísimo.

The Lord warned us in many different ways, but we paid no attention to any of these signs. We chose to turn a deaf ear, pretend we didn’t hear, and continue in our iniquity until our time on earth ran out, and with it our opportunities to repent. Then the time came to give an account to the Most High.

Allí, frente al gran trono blanco, el Señor nos preguntó: «¿Por qué elegiste las riquezas antes que a Mí?» Mostrándonos el pasado, nos dijo: «Mira, te he mandado muchas señales para que corrijas tus caminos.» Después dijo: «Ahora quiten de mi vista a este hacedor de maldad», y nos arrestaron.

There, before the great white throne, the Lord asked us, “Why did you choose riches over Me?” Showing us the past, He said, “Look, I sent you many signs so you would correct your ways.” Then He said, “Now take this evildoer away from My sight,” and we were arrested.

Todos los que entran en mi Reino tienen las manos limpias, dice el Señor. Todos los que entran a las bodas están impecables y no tienen ni una sola mancha en sus vestiduras.

All who enter My Kingdom have clean hands, says the Lord. All who enter the wedding feast are spotless and don’t have even a single stain on their garments.

Ellos beberán un vino nuevo y celebraremos juntos en familia. A ellos se les colocará una corona y se les dará un cetro, y se sentarán en un trono y juzgarán a las naciones con mi justicia. Juzgarán hasta a los ángeles.

They will drink a new wine and we will celebrate together as a family. They will be given a crown and a scepter, and they will sit on a throne and judge the nations with My justice. They will even judge the angels.

Así que ahora endereza tus caminos, dice el Señor. Arrepiéntete, límpiate las manos y vuelve a Mí, para que me sonrías y caminemos juntos de nuevo. Recibirás riquezas inimaginables, perfectas e incorruptibles en la vida eterna, y los ángeles danzarán y cantarán alrededor tuyo.

So now make your ways straight, says the Lord. Repent, cleanse your hands, and return to Me so you may smile at Me and we may walk together again. You will receive unimaginable, perfect, and incorruptible riches in eternal life, and the angels will dance and sing around you.

Pero ahora debes resistir las tentaciones y batallar contra el enemigo por un poco más de tiempo. Te he dado la armadura completa que necesitas para luchar, y te he dado la espada.

But now you must resist temptations and fight the enemy a little while longer. I have given you the full armor you need to fight, and I have given you the sword.

Hijo mío, levántate y destruye estas falsas doctrinas con la gran espada que te he dado (la Palabra). Reprende a estos falsos predicadores, haz justicia en mi nombre, y cuando llegue el momento de vernos, Yo voy a sanar tus manos lastimadas y te voy a dar descanso. My son, rise up and destroy these false doctrines with the great sword I have given you (the Word). Rebuke these false preachers, do justice in My name, and when the time comes for us to meet, I will heal your wounded hands and I will give you rest. I will comfort you, I will wipe away your tears, I will open the door for you and I will say to you, “Enter My house. The table is already set.”

There are so many false prophets in the world, in churches, teaching lies to millions, Lord. Please save us from these lies. Give us Your hand, Jesus. We need You, Jesus.
